Serenbe

This week is winter break and the kids have the week off. (In five weeks they get spring break, where was this sweet vacation schedule in our day?!) Today we out with our fellow Hoosier friends to Serenbe. It is a self sustaining community about 25 minutes or so from our home (only a few minutes from our friend's home). I now refer to hippies with money. The houses were awesome all with solar paneled roofs, they had their own stores and restaurants. The stores were mostly art, photography and refurbished furniture.

The first play area we went to had a in-ground trampoline. Austin was a little skeptical since there were four other bigger kids on there, but they all seemed to have fun. We checked out the farm animals and hike through some of the trails. We spent over two hours playing in the biggest tree house I'd ever seen...well the boys did, Alissa played games on my phone and Andria and I socialized. We ended the fun day getting over-sized brownies for under $2. Definitely have will go back there again with Nate.

First time on the trampoline.

Farm animals. The goats were the crowd favorite since there were so many babies.

Electric fence doesn't scare me!

The kids all wanted to take the two mile hike to the waterfall. Uh yeah, we'd love to see the waterfall, but Andria and I were not about to carry any of the five kids back the two miles to the car.

The awesome treehouse!

After scarfing down brownies they threw pennies into the fountain before we went home.
