Snorkeling

Visiting Pearl Harbor and snorkeling were the two things that Nate and I really wanted to do while on vacation. We were ready, we bought new snorkel gear for all of us, we went to the pool a lot over Christmas vacation so we knew the boys would be ready to snorkel. We stayed at the new Disney resort Aulani, and they have a private reef in the center of the resort. We only went snorkeling in their reef one day. It was extra cost per day and VERY cold. We thought the ocean was cold but their reef was much colder. We went a few times the day we did go. It was awesome! So many fish and they would swim so close to you. We also snorkeled several times in the ocean. There was a sea turtle family in the area, I thought I saw one but I'm pretty sure that I was stalking a rock. ;)

This is not zoomed at all. I think we could have reached out and touched these fish. There would be a school of them and they'd swim right under us. It was very cool, but it freaked the boys out a bit.
