On behalf of the Burton/Taylor family we hope you had a wonderful Easter. We enjoyed the days leading up to Easter with a few fun projects for Rylan. He loved coloring eggs and needed minimal assistance. Austin enjoyed playing with his bunny egg tongs while Rylan colored most of the eggs. We did color the eggs before Nate went to work, so my mom, Nate and I enjoyed coloring a few eggs too.
This is the first holiday where Rylan really wanted us out of bed that minute. Austin was still sleeping so I told him he had to wait until he woke up. A few eggs were on the main couch we sit on so we sat on the love seat to watch TV and Rylan just stared at the eggs and said he would let Austin get those eggs. He found almost all of the eggs on his own and was a great at pointing out the ones on the floor for Austin.
We picked up my Nana after the afternoon naps so she could enjoy Easter dinner with us. After a fun day of searching for eggs, Rylan enjoyed staying up a little later to watch Pinnochio.
We love and miss all of our family and friends. Happy Easter!

Rylan loves the trumpet so he was thrilled when the Easter Bunny had one waiting for him.
That is so cute! I love how he helped Austin. What a great big brother!
ReplyDeleteRylan is such a good big brother and is so patient! Our kids would have never left the eggs alone to wait without touching them every 5 seconds. Shows how good of a mommy you are! Glad you had a great Easter!
