Bowling & Golfing

Nate worked OT this past Sunday, not because he had to but because he's a nice guy, much to my dismay. You know how he is, if someone asks him to do something, he normally does what he can to help out. He did get out 3 hours early so we did get see him for a little bit before he left for his Fantasy Baseball draft at 4:30 pm. Since he only had one day off this week we planned on taking the boys to the zoo again. This time just the four of us since my mom is at Erin's. When we got up on Monday, I looked at the detailed forecast and the high of 68 wasn't going to be reached until 3:00 pm. So we decided it would be too cold for the boys. Instead we took them to the bowling alley that also has glow-in-the-dark putt putt golfing. We bowled first, which Rylan loved. Should I be embarrassed that he had a 7 lb ball (the smallest they have) and I had a 9 lb ball? Nah! Not only did he have a 7 lb ball but he even held it right and threw it down the lane. Muscles Taylor in the house! Do I need to mention these muscles are clearly from me?! Ha! The bowling alley restaurant/bar didn't have high chairs, I know shocking. ;) So we went to Burger King that has a huge indoor play place. After Rylan ran around like a madman he wanted to bowl again. We did go back but to play arcade games and to golf. He had such a great time that he has been asking to go back everyday since then. I told him we couldn't because Austin can't bowl yet and daddy is at work. He said he'd bowl by himself and I could watch. Something tells me we'll be going there again when Nate is off of work.

Ry right before we started bowling.

Aw, matching shoes. Ry wanted to wear these home!

Daddy showing Ry how to hold the ball and to throw down the lane.

Final score. Rylan 69, Mommy 97, Daddy 138. At least I didn't loose to Ry! ;)

Ry on the motorcycle. Believe it or not he's having fun. :)

Glorified squirt guns!

Oops the flash is on!

Believe it or not, I got a hole in one!

So did Ry! Nate hit the ball so close to the hole everytime but didn't get a hole in one. He is definitely the best golfer of the three!

Austin, my golf buddy.
