Easter Activities

We took the boys to our church for an egg hunt and other activities. What is normal here isn't necessarily normal in other areas. All that was said in church and in the monthly newsletter was there was an egg hunt from 3-5 pm. Now at our church in Louisville we had a similar event for Easter. There was a 2 hour window and every 30 minutes they had an egg hunt. This is what I assumed the case would be. So we went there at 4:00 after both kids had napped. While Rylan's working on some crafts I ask a church member working the craft if there will be any other egg hunts. Apparently they only have one large one shortly after everyone arrives. Nate agreed based on the sign outside and what I had told him was said he would assume that you could go at anytime and do everything. Not that you had to show up right at 3:00. At least Rylan got to do some activities before we left. He didn't seem to care that he didn't see the Easter bunny or hunt for eggs. He got to decorate a cookie and win some prizes playing games so he was a happy camper.
