Snowy Surprise

Surprise, surprise, it snowed today! I had heard it was going to snow, but didn't believe it since it hit 68 yesterday. Much to all of our surprise, it did snow and within an hour we had an inch. That's all we got, but Rylan was thrilled when he realized it was covering the ground. We had taken Nana to church this morning and I had to take her home during the "big snow". She was not thrilled it was snowing and complained the entire way home. Why does she want to move back to Indiana again?!

Growing up with snow, Nate, mom and I were surprised when we heard thunder while it was snowing. It did this several times, but of course, we never caught it on video. Huge snowflakes fell, it looked like we were in a snow globe and then you would randomly hear thunder. It was very weird. A few hours later it was back to sleeting and already melting away. Ah, living in the south, the snow comes and goes in a few hours. Nice!
