Frost Play date

When we moved down here I knew that a friend from college already lived in the neighboring town. We have been emailing back and forth since I found out we were moving here. We set a play date a few weeks ago, but her kids were getting over colds and we all had had our share of sickness and I didn't want to chance anyone catching something.

I ran into her two Fridays in a row before our scheduled play date (at a large consignment sale and at the park). It was nice to finally meet up and let our kids play. She has twins, Collin and Sydney, that are 4, and an 18 month old named Britton. Her kids are shy like Rylan is around new people. We were there for a few hours, and by the end everyone was a little more social. I'm sure the next time we meet up all the kids will be more social and wanting to play. I know Ellen and I had a good time catching up and talking about mom things. Isn't that what play dates are all about? Feeling better talking to other moms!
