Today was Nana's birthday. We didn't do anything too exciting. I asked her yesterday what she wanted to eat and she told me potato pancakes. I know you're wishing you were invited for that meal. I don't know about you but when I hear potato pancakes I think breakfast food, but mom tells me that they used to eat this for dinner. So I made that for her for dinner. It looked as tasty as it sounds. She liked it though. Afterward, we had cake. Rylan assisted blowing out the candles. A few of her friends called her today. She told them to pick her up or she'd start walking. Thankfully they all told her how much snow Indiana has right now, so she changed her mind.
Happy 88th Birthday, Nana!
