Another year bites the dust....

Today Nate and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. Since we don't get much time alone with our kids, we decided to take them to the Georgia Aquarium. We went there last October when we moved here to celebrate my mom's birthday. This time Austin was much more alert and really made some noise when he saw all the fish. Rylan loved petting the sting rays and sharks and the moving sidewalk in the shark tunnel, which is pretty usual. There is a large observing area of all the various fish, sharks and sting rays that we saved for last because it is so relaxing you want to take a nap. I thought Rylan was going to after he grabbed his blanket and curled up next to Nate. Instead the two of them looked at the fish guide and matched each fish in the water to the fish on the guide.

Yesterday we spent some alone time as a foursome, going to Best Buy, which led to Nate and Rylan playing video games. Later that evening all of us (including mom & Nana) went out to dinner. Nothing says happy anniversary than an entourage. ;) But seriously, we had a great dinner with everyone, and both of us said it could be worse. We may not get much time alone, but at least we are together again which beats just a few months ago when we were two states apart!

I know that I am a lucky person to have such a wonderful husband. Honestly, how many men do you know that would help take care of their mother-in-law, grandmother-in-law AND live with me? We always tell him he's a saint. He rarely complains and is always the calm to my storm. I look forward to many more adventures with him.

Cue the music. Another one bites the dust...

Ry loves the fishies!

This picture doesn't do justice "Dori's" color.

Checking out the jellies.

No denying they're related!
