Cars, where are my CARS?
You most likely got our Christmas letter that said Rylan was really into cars. Well, that may be an understatement. Last night I went to Walmart & bought a lot of tuperware boxes & labeled them for trains, cars, small balls, stuff like that. Well, like a good mom I don't tell Rylan that all of cars & trains are in these lovely clear boxes. I mean can't the kid read already?! Anyway, he's playing all day with all of these random toys. I thought it was weird, but figured he wanted to play with these old toys. Just before dinner he starts digging thru all of our toy boxes. There are toys everywhere. I ask Rylan what he is looking for. He says in his loudest voice possible, "My cars. WHERE ARE MY CARS?" Then collapses to the ground. Oops, guess I should have pointed those out. Poor guy. So I show him all of the clear boxes & tell him what's in them. He hugs the car one & says, "MY cars, these are MY cars, mommy." Too funny. Lesson of the day. When your little one is digging out all of the old toys and looking stressed, tell them where their favorite toy is moved to!
