Snowmageddon 2014

Damn Mother Nature needs to chill out this winter!  I know my loved ones in Indiana are more than ready for spring.  I'm sure the groundhog will be pissed when he's coaxed out on Sunday to see how much more winter.  I think it's safe to say it's not going away anytime soon.

Tomorrow our kids will enjoy day 4 of the snow day streak!  Our family was safe and no one was stranded for hours or days.  We do know several families where the husband had a commute from hell.  One lasting 2 days.  After 14 hours on the road Tuesday, he found a place to stay, left his car and didn't get home until today...that's right Thursday afternoon!  He was safe and that's what's important.

The boys enjoyed the snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.  They made a snow man, learned how to make snowballs worth throwing and did a lot of sledding down our little hill in the backyard.  Today they didn't want to go out.  It was sunny and melting the snow.  They did enjoy a chill out day of video games, board games and movies.  They don't get a lot of breaks between school, sports and Taekwondo, but they did the last few days since even Taekwondo was closed.  Today we did get out and go to Taekwondo and the roads were still icy in places so I can see why the schools closed to be on the safe side.

We made a lot of great memories and I captured some pictures that are frame-able!
