Say What?!

Ok, I know I have put funny things the boy's have said in the past. But lately they crack us up so much I feel like I should starting posting their goofiness more often.

On Monday Rylan went to school and informed his friends we are going on vacation to Chicago next summer. He tells his friends how he is going to Lake Michigan and to a big city. The girl that sits next to him tells him that they went to Michigan on vacation this year and the water was gross. He looks at me seriously and says, "Abby was thirsty the whole time she was there. I don't want to drink water from Lake Michigan. It's gross." After I assure him that he won't drink from Lake Michigan and that she drank water in the state of Michigan not from the lake he was relieved. Let's see if he really drinks any water while we're there though. ;)

Onto our friendly helper Austin. After a few days of baking goodies for the kid's teachers and mom's doctors we started delivering the goodies today. As I'm walking into one place to drop off goodies to the lab technician that draws mom's blood every other week I quickly open the tin to see a bite out of one of the candies. I look at Austin and show him and he says. "I did that. It good." Needless to say he is now eating the rest of it as we are walking into the doctor's office. As I look closer I realize he at 2 of the 3 candies...thankfully he hadn't touched the fudge which is what the lady really wanted. You think I would have learned after preparing the teacher's tins when he was putting one into the tin and one in his mouth that maybe he shouldn't hold the tins as we drove around today.
