Christmas-time Fun!

We are in full swing of the Christmas spirit. I love how excited the boys are about Santa coming! Rylan is very into the count down to Christmas and Austin is getting the grasp of it as well.

The boys did a fantastic job decorating the tree. They both loved seeing ornaments they have made and the ornaments that have their names on them. They also helped decorate the outside of our house only taking a scooter break a once or twice.

Here are some pictures of what we have done so far.

Austin has been obsessed with our elf, Perry. Even though he understands the rule from Santa is no touching Perry, he has now touched him twice. The first time he was on top of the refrigerator (Perry's first day here) and he climbed up onto the counter and when I busted him on the counter top he quickly responded I touched Perry. So Perry didn't leave for the North Pole because he lost some magic. Rylan was crushed. Perry returned two days later. The day he returned he used his toy broom and knocked Perry down. Rylan again was upset. Perry disappeared for a day and a note from Santa was left for Austin the next day. After Austin wrote an apology to Santa and Perry he has returned with no more temptation to touch him.

Writing their letters to Santa.

Austin's letter asking for a tool bench, remote control car, and a horse to sleep with. He also apologizes for touching Perry.

Rylan's letter asking for a telescope, green slime and a yellow robot.

Putting their letters in their stockings.

Our church/the boy's preschool had a Breakfast with Santa on Saturday. We enjoyed pancakes and hot chocolate, a visit with Santa and crafts.

Austin getting his candy cane tat.

Making their Rudolph faces on their reindeer food bags. Yay don't have to make reindeer food this year!

Decorating their Christmas cards. They also made bell necklaces that have turned into bell numb-chucks...

This year instead of a ginger bread train the boys wanted a ginger bread house. Nate was happy I bought the pre-assembled one this year since I'm no help putting things together.

Patiently waiting for Daddy to finish the icing.

Enjoying eating and decorating with candy.
