Magic Kingdom

We saved the best for last! This was the best park for our group! Perfect timing on everything from getting on the rides and into shows in 20 minutes or less to getting to our reservations with no problem. It was great! We kept looking at each other in disbelief everything was going so smoothly. What a great ending to an awesome vacation!

To get into the Magic Kingdom you could either ride a boat or a tram. Rylan chose the tram on the way into the park both times and the boat on the way out.

When we first got in we headed straight back to the kid area. We didn't wait long at all to ride Dumbo, Peter Pan or Small World!

We squeezed in the boys, Nate, Chad and myself into one teacup...and I mean squeezed!

After riding a few rides we headed to the front of the park where we had a lunch reservation. We ended up catching the end of one of the many parades that day.

Is it me or does Woody look more like Jake Gyllenhal?

Austin fell asleep right when we walked into eat lunch.

Riding the boat back to the car for nap time. This was a first for the boys and they were thrilled.

When we got back to the park after nap time we had a reservation for a character dinner with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. Rylan and Austin had only seen Shamu up close, but after a few moments there they warmed up to the characters. Each character would come around to the table every 20 minutes or so, then they would parade around the restaurant before taking a brief break. The food was good, and the character interaction was great! Definitely worth it!

Mom's favorite is Eeyore so we thought we'd get one of her with the kids. As you can see Mallory wasn't having any of it and Austin kept trying to run around.

After dinner our family went to ride a few rides with the boy's, while Mom went with Erin's family went to the Pooh playing area for toddlers. We took the kid's on the Toy Story ride and then on a car ride which was scary that Austin was tall enough. Rylan drove our car, and rode the metal bar the entire time while saying, "I'm a great driver, Mommy!" It was a lot of fun and one of Rylan's favorite rides for the week.

After a brief split we met back up for the fireworks and lighted night parade. Erin and I changed the little ones into their pjs before it started. Both of them lasted trough fireworks and thankfully fell asleep easily before the parade. The fireworks were awesome, and all of us loved it.

Shortly before the fireworks some employees put down a white line and then told us that it was ok to be on the side we were on during the fireworks but not during the parade. As luck would have it a group of people walked away right after the fireworks and we managed to snag a spot for the parade! Since Austin was sleeping in his stroller I was able to enjoy the parade with Rylan. He loved the fact he was the only one still awake of the kids...and he loved the parade.

When Chip & Dale went by, Rylan said...."That's silly, squirrels can't play the piano." I told him they were chipmunks and he said, "Chipmunks can't play the piano either, Mommy."

After a long, long week Rylan fell asleep before we made it to the car!
