Hollywood Studios

Our second park was Hollywood Studios. Aside from Magic Kingdom, we knew this would be a favorite for the kids. All the Pixar movie characters were there along with the Playhouse Disney characters. We watched a few of the 3-D shows and went to see the Pixar characters. Rylan wanted his picture taken with the characters from UP. We waited in line for a half hour before finding out that they'd take a break before we'd even get to see them. So we decided the wait was too long and got out of line. Rylan was happy with just us taking their picture. He didn't want to pose with anyone else, and I have to say Mater and McQueen were so realistic, I wish they would have posed with them. But we took pics of them kid free anyway. We took a break after lunch so the kids could all take a nap, and we were hoping stay up until the Fantasmic show at 8:00 pm. The kids and my mom all did get a nap in, and everyone was doing well to make the 8:00 show. On our way to the theater we were told that it was already full and we could try for the 10:00 show. Knowing that there was no way Austin and Mallory could make it until 10:00 Erin and I took the little ones and mom back to the house while Nate and Chad took Rylan on the Toy Story ride that had a nearly 2 hour wait. Such a nice daddy since Rylan had seen this ride on Disney channel commercials and really wanted to on there. After I got Austin into bed I went back to the park to join the them watching the Fantasmic show. Rylan was nervous at times but did enjoy the show and loved that "Mickey beat the bad guys".

You can't go to Hollywood Studios and miss one of the stunt shows. We saw a car stunt show.

The Playhouse Disney show was probably the best part of the day for all of the kids. Rylan was participating in all of the audience interaction. Austin stood up when he saw Mickey come on stage, and gave me a look like, "It's the REAL Mickey!" It was classic.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids park was a huge hit. Rylan kept asking to go back the rest of the day.

The infamous Toy Story ride. Rylan still talks about this ride.

Fantasmic show...well worth the wait!
