We arrived in Orlando on a Tuesday. As soon as we got to the rental house, we unloaded everything and then Nate, Chad and Rylan went to the Braves vs. Marlins spring training game. The only reason they went to this game was we are Braves fans and Chad is a Marlins fan so it was a must see for the men! Rylan was so tired and didn't want to really go but he ended having a great time and enjoyed some hot dogs and popcorn. Nate had worked a day/mid (translation: Monday 6:00 am - 2:00 pm & Monday night 10:45 pm - 6:45 am). We left for the airport shortly after he got home Tuesday so needless to say he was exhausted by evening. Since he was so tired and they bolted pretty much right after we got to the house we don't have any pictures of the wild bunch at the game.
Our first park was Animal Kingdom. Mom had dialysis that day, so this day was pretty much a learning day for us. We went all over the park hitting the shows/rides we knew mom would want to participate in. And we learned very quickly how hard the days were going to be with two strollers and a scooter. Poor mom was nervous she'd hit someone so she stop when a person would cut her off. So this day was a great day to learn how to manage our group the rest of the week so our days were less stresful. A huge thank you to Nate & Chad for manning scooter duty with mom. Erin & I pushed the stollers and they helped her with the scooter. Erin & I were not good leaders and often left them in the dust, but we were given a realty check when Nate & Chad traded duties with us. And they realized it was hard to keep a slow pace and still cut through the parade of people. This day was probably our most hectic, but still a great time!
The first thing we did when we got to Animal Kingdom was go to the safari ride. You ride in a large jeep and ride through the African Safari. Everyone enjoyed the ride and scenery.

Me & my Mal waiting to get in the jeep.

Waiting in line with Auntie Erin.

Ready to roll.

Whenever we saw animals, Rylan would immediately look up at this sign to find it on there. It was too cute. Austin would point at every animal and say "See, see." And Mallory would point and say, "Doggie."
Some of the sights on the safari ride.

Riding on the train. I love how Ry looks thrilled to be on the train (oh wait, he IS thrilled to be on the train!), how Erin looks like "What is so great about this?" and Chad looks like he sees something exciting going on.

At the petting zoo. Ry is such a city boy and wants nothing to do with the animals, while Austin liked to check every animal out.

Nate, Ry & Chad playing some games.

Chad won the game, but Ry yelled "Yes!" after it ended so the woman working gave him the prize. She tried to take it back when she realized Chad actually won. Thank goodness Chad won so Ry got to keep it.
Finding Nemo the musical.

Rylan loved this show. Austin fell asleep halfway through but was entranced while he was awake. Overall it was a great show.
When Erin took mom to dialysis we went on a ride with the kids. The boys loved being up in the air the entire time.

At the end of our day we watched the closing parade.

Heading home after a long day!
