Falcons' Training Camp

We went on a little get-a-way to northern Atlanta to see the Atlanta Falcons. Our exciting plans were cut short due to Great-Nana getting sick, but that is a different story. We were fortunate to get away late Sunday night only to get up very early to go to the practice.

There were several things for kids the hour before practice started but Rylan was really not into it. Probably something to do with not getting to swim in the pool since we got in late and left for the practice early and the fact that he went to bed at 11:30 pm and woke up at 6:30 am. That's just a guess...

After Nate took him to pick out his own football he quickly cheered up and watched the tackling session begin. This was apparently one of the first practices where they were in full gear so that was cool. I would have not been as impressed had they not had the gear on. ;) After a hot 2 hours of practice some of the players signed autographs. Rylan got his new football signed by one of the defensive players. After practice the boys enjoyed a dip in the pool before we headed back to reality.
