4th of July Fun

We hope that everyone had a great 4th! Nate had an evening shift so while he rested in the morning, the boys and I went to the local parade. Neither of them had been to a parade and both seemed to enjoy it. Austin tried to run out and join a few times. Rylan made a few friends so every time something was thrown out other than candy someone would make sure both boys got one. This is definitely a kid-friendly town!

Both kids were very tired after the long morning, so we took a long nap before the fireworks. Austin was in bed by the time we did our fireworks, but Rylan was more than ready. He loves fireworks so much that we bought ours on Friday so he wouldn't have to see them waiting in the garage for too long (and so I wouldn't hear about it for too many days!).

This video is from the Sea World fireworks. Rylan and Brenna were yelling "Whoa! Whoa!" after nearly every firework. Too cute!
