Update on Gigo

So much for keeping up with the blog! Erin and the girls came over their spring break....2 weeks ago. We had a blast (pictures in another post). Mom went back with them. This past Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, she fell out of bed. Erin and Chad helped her back up. Her blood sugar was extremely low (not known at the time) so she couldn't stand up. She ended up breaking her ankle in two spots. She is currently at the hospital in Erin's town. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday) at noon CST. We are not sure how long she'll be in the hospital. Could be just a few days, they may keep her a few weeks. We're just taking it one day at a time, and one doctor at a time. Mom's sense of humor is still alive and well. Once that goes we're all screwed. :)

This was her "good leg". She was rapidly getting to the point of being in a wheel chair more often than not due to her health. I guess this was the final straw for the wheel chair. I'll keep you posted and get caught up on my blog. We've had a lot of visitors over the past two weeks!
