Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We had a great New Year's Eve. Rylan, Austin and I went swimming at the YMCA with our friends, the Bolinger's, played for awhile at Chick-Fil-A and napped. The Bolinger's came over at 4 in order to be able to watch the IU basketball game. Two don'ts in our house, IU and basketball, but we allowed it this once. After everyone left, Mason stayed the night and he and Ry were determined to make it to midnight.

This was the first year we let Rylan try to stay up until midnight. He and his buddy Mason made it until 1:00 am. They wanted to stay up all night but Nate told them to sleep so they could play today. Of course, they were up by 7:30. Austin was determined to stay up like the big boys, but at 11:30 he told me midnight was taking too long and he went to bed. Still, I was surprised he made it that long. And of course, he was up at 7.

I took a video of the boys counting down to midnight. Spent more time than I liked to admit trying to get it from my phone to my laptop before finally asking for Nate's assistance. Only to find out I can no longer download videos to my blog. Nice! I did take a few pictures of the boys before and after the countdown.
