Last day of summer

Today is the last day of summer vacation for Rylan. Tomorrow he starts his first day of 1st grade. While I am way behind on my summer days and trips being posted, I must not be late on posting his first day of school. While we were in Indiana a few weeks ago we were thrilled to get a phone call that Rylan had gotten into the charter school we had been on the waiting list for. It is a small school, only two classes per grade and every class has 18 kids, a teacher and a T.A. At his orientation on Friday he was excited to find out that not only does his teacher go to our church (one of his Sunday School teachers), but that he already knows a few kids including one from his Kindergarten class! I'm not sure if I'm as ready as he is for the big 1st grade, but it makes it easier knowing he is going to a good, small school. I will be a posting fool after I get his first day of school pictures posted tomorrow.
