Taylor/Rawls Annual Vacation - #3

This year has been a little crazy so far. We had a ice storm with a measly two inches of snow to go with it. And no where comparable to the one now in IN, but none-the-less it crippled our city for a week. Then the next week we went on our annual vacation with Erin's family. So to go with the way this year has been so far my next few posts are out of order. First I'm going to post about our vacation and then hit up the few things between New Year's Day and our vacation. Normally we have our vacation in the spring but since Erin's expecting we moved it up to mid January.

With pregnant Erin, we agreed to go to go to Gatlinburg again. We got a different cabin this time since there are two additional kids. This cabin had a movie theater room which was a crowd pleaser for the kids. They watched everything on the big screen. Our trip was great, it was so nice to get away from reality for a week and relax. Mom even got a relaxing time at dialysis. Well as relaxing as dialysis can be. She had a heated, massaging chair with her own satellite radio and a tv with built in dvd. Paradise compared to any other clinic she has ever been to. The only bad part of the trip was Austin, mom and I got a stomach bug on Sunday, and Rylan got it on Tuesday. Both were the days we were planning on going to the aquarium. Even though the aquarium was a bust, we did hit the go cart tracks, outlet shopping, tourist shopping, and a venture through Cades Cove. The kid's loved seeing all the deer and the streams and waterfalls.

Family fun!

Yum....S'mores

Super bubble baths!

Our hot tub was broken when we first got there. After it was repaired it said 105 but it felt more like the 90s so we let Ry get in. He LOVED it! Made Nate & I miss our Louisville house, well at least our old hot tub.

Snow-filled fun

Cades Cove

Finally napping after a LONG car ride.
