Swimming Lessons

We put Rylan in swimming lessons at the YMCA this year. Instead of the group he went to last summer that met everyday for two weeks, he went one Saturday for a month. This was his first class to take without me or Nate in the pool with him. He did great in the class. He is getting much better at swimming without floatation assistance. He is a little fish when he has his goggles on, only coming up for air briefly and then back down. During lessons he couldn't wear his goggles and was hesitant at first about going under, but ended up going under with confidence. The last two classes they ended the class by jumping off the diving board. Rylan loved jumping off and is looking forward to jumping off with mommy & daddy. We are very proud of Rylan's progress and are thrilled he has been passed onto the intermediate level, getting to skip advanced beginners! Here are some pictures from his last class.
