First Day of Preschool

School started last week (Tuesday 8/10) and both boys are now in preschool. Rylan goes Monday - Thursday 9:00 - 12:00 and Austin goes Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 - 12:00. They both went to school Tuesday but both missed on Thursday since we had to go out of town for a wedding.

Rylan did great. There are several girls from his class last year but no boys. He has already made two new friends and told me today that has a little girl that thinks his clothes are cool and that he is cute. She has already deemed him her boyfriend and that he has to sit by her. Girls these days.... ;)

Austin did well his first day. He cried as soon as he realized that he was going to be in another class than Rylan. As soon as I left the room he was fine and started playing with the playdoh. He is in the younger two year old room which I am thrilled about. Nate and I are looking forward to seeing his social skills develop even more now that he is with 11 other 2 year olds.

Unfortunately I have no pictures from their first day. Like I mentioned before we were leaving for Indiana on Wednesday so before we left I downloaded my first day of school pictures so I could update the blog before we left. Well, our lovely laptop that is on it's final leg shutdown unexpectedly while it was downloading. Only problem is it was already done downloading and deleting pictures from the memory card, but didn't actually save the pictures to computer. So sadly I don't have the great pictures from before school and the classic Austin crying in the teachers arms as I left the room. I did go ahead and take pictures today before school. Can you tell they are hams when the camera is around?
