4th of July Fun

Happy belated 4th! I hope you had a great day with the ones you love! We returned Saturday the 3rd from Indiana to the pleasant surprise of Nate having the 4th off! The boys were so thrilled Daddy was going to be home all day. On our drive through TN on the way back we stopped at a huge fireworks store and stocked up. The place was packed, but my two mini helpers assisted me and my mom in picking out some great fireworks. Before we lit up our fireworks we went over to a neighbors party. We met a few of the neighbors and were happy to find out that the neighborhood has it's own fireworks right behind our house! After enjoying our fireworks we headed to the backyard to watch the rest. It was so nice not having to drive to the city's firework show and deal with the traffic. Nate and I figured when the boys get older we will have to brave the crowds for bigger fireworks, but for now, they were thrilled.

Smoke bombs are very popular with them. They would run through the smoke and fake cough. Not sure where they get that from. ;)



Both of them were timid of the sparklers at first, but now are obsessed.
