Goodbye Killian

It has been a sad day at our house. Both of our dogs got out on Sunday evening. Cadence just showed back up on Monday afternoon, which made us nervous since Killian has never been gone this long and completely alone. I was driving my mom to dialysis early this morning when I unfortunately saw Killian lying on the side of the road. After we picked him up, Nate thoroughly examined him and thankfully he looks like he's sleeping. No noticeable wounds but he did have a broken neck and hip. Nate thinks since his neck is broken that he died instantly, which is a relief for all of us.

We'll miss you Killian. You're in good hands now.
