Nate turned 30 on Tuesday. Since my mom, Austin & I were in Indiana until yesterday, we surprised him with cake and ice cream tonight when he got home from work. Rylan of course, had to pick out special plates and cups, so we had a Transformer themed evening. Nate was surprised to see us with balloons and Transformer hats on when he got home. Since his high school and college baseball number was 30, I obviously made him a baseball cake with the help of Ry & Aus of course. Even though we missed his special day, we had a great evening with him.
I hated that we missed his birthday, but he did enjoy his day with Rylan going bowling and playing games. They had a great week of bonding, but we are glad to all be back home together.
