Christmas Time

I love this time of year! Rylan and Austin have been counting down days since Halloween. Of course, they were the first to comment when they saw Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving. We set up our tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. They both love to decorate for all of the holidays, but especially at Christmas. Here are some of the things we've done so far this month.

Nana read Elf on the Shelf on Thanksgiving night and then our elf Perry showed up.

Building our ginger bread train.

Writing their letters to Santa. We are so proud of Austin for writing his own letter this year! Rylan asked for a bike, Zuma's Revenge video game and a remote control airplane. Austin asked for a bike, a remote control whale and a Cars guitar.

Our church had a drive-thru nativity. I was an angel on the final night. Nate, the boys and mom drove through and were able to see me on my rotation out there. I was the angel telling Joseph he was going to be a father. Our church had over 3000 people come through. Definitely an awesome experience to drive-thru and to be a part of.

To start the Christmas vacation off right we went to see the Fantasy in Lights at Callaway Gardens. We went with a few of Rylan's football friends I feel bad for the people that were on our trolley with this rowdy bunch up front.
