Austin's Soccer Season

Austin's soccer season ended today. His team practiced for 30 minutes followed by a 30 minute game. We were pleasantly surprised at his game today that he was actually playing. The entire season, he told us that soccer was boring, that he didn't like it. Today he was actually paying attention, taking the ball from the other kids and was dribbling well. He had scored goals this season, but it was standing in front of the goal and kicking it in after his team mates had dribbled it all the way from the other end of the field. Today he was the one dribbling down the field. It may be a combo of the last game, trophy and the fact that everyone came to watch him today. Whatever the case, he ended his season on a high note.
