Perry

You may have read my last post and wondered who Perry the elf is. Last Christmas we heard about Elf on the Shelf and bought a kit. It's a book and elf. You read the book to the kids, their elf appears and then they name him. Rylan chose Perry after Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. He flies to the North Pole to report to Santa on how the boys were that day. Then comes back and hides. The boys look for him immediately and love finding a treat from Perry in their advent calendar. We added the treat and sending the wrapping paper to Santa. The boys think Perry is awesome and normally behave better knowing Perry is watching. They were thrilled when we got back from our vacation and he arrived that night. Now if he could stay all year I'd be good to go...
