Burton/Brady Visits

Mom, the boys and I met up with Erin and Mallory in Nashville so we could help each other out on the drive to Indiana for Uncle Tom's funeral. It was a very long trip (4 days of driving) but it was very worth it. On Monday, we stopped in at my cousin Chad's house. He was at work, but we enjoyed time with his wife Katie, and kids Conner, 3, and Hilary, 1. Rylan loved playing with Conner and I loved that he could release all that pent up energy before we went to the hotel that night.

Playtime with Hilary, Mallory, Austin.

Football with Conner.

Katie reading to Conner, Hilary, me & Austin. Ry is busy in the other room playing with trains.

On Tuesday after the funeral, we all gathered at Uncle Larry and Aunt Lisa's house. Rylan rough-housed with Sean and Heath. Austin finally warmed up to everyone and started letting people hold him without looking like he was going to cry.

Aunt Jo & Austin - Looks like a photo I have with her & Rylan when he was a baby!

Nothing like playing in the snow in your church clothes!

Ry was thrilled when he realized he could throw snowballs at me and not get in trouble.

Let the rumble begin!

Poor Sean was double teamed once Conner arrived.

Here are some photos from the hotel.

What a great, big cousin.

Rylan says, "Lie on your back and put your arms above your head."

As Gigo would say....Nummy toes!

Even though the reason we were all together was sad, we always make sure we enjoy the times we do get together. Far are the days when everyone was alive and healthy. But one thing that never changes is a great support system and a lot of laughs. I love my family!
